At SRAM Shop, we stand behind our components like we stand behind our drivetrain technology. If your purchase doesn’t meet your performance expectations, our returns process is as smooth as a well-tuned derailleur.
Returns & Exchanges Overview
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of delivery for most products. All returned items must be:
- In original packaging with all included components
- Unused and in resalable condition (no scratches, installation marks, or wear)
- Accompanied by the original receipt or order confirmation
Non-Returnable Items:
The following products cannot be returned due to hygiene/safety concerns or customization:
- Cutlery & Knives (sharpened or used items)
- Brake Components with installed brake pads
- Bearings & Bolts that have been installed or show signs of use
- Personalized or custom-ordered components
Return Process
Follow these steps for a hassle-free return:
- Initiate Your Return: Email [email protected] with your order number and reason for return within 15 days of delivery
- Receive Authorization: Our Rider Support team will respond within 24 hours with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions
- Package Securely: Repack items in original packaging with all included components and documentation
- Ship Your Return: Send to our Sacramento facility using a trackable shipping method (see address below)
- Inspection & Processing: Allow 3-5 business days for processing after we receive your return
Refund Information
Once your return is approved:
- Timing: Refunds process within 3 business days after inspection, reaching your account within 5-10 business days depending on your financial institution
- Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
Exchange Process
For exchanges (size/color/model changes):
- Follow the standard return process above
- Clearly indicate your desired replacement item in your return request
- We’ll ship the replacement once we receive your return (additional shipping charges may apply)
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to:
- Incorrect item shipped
- Defective component
- Our processing error
We recommend using a trackable shipping service and retaining your proof of postage.
